PRINT INFORMATION: Prints up to 12x18, as well as 8x20 and 12x30 panoramic prints, are printed with archival-rated pigment inks on a professional-quality inkjet printer and will resist fading for 100 to 200 years under normal viewing conditions. All other prints are output using either Chromira or Lightjet photo lab processes, assuring excellent print stability equal to that of traditional photo prints.

IMAGE AVAILABILITY: By clicking on the link above, you can browse through a selection of images and their available sizes. Since this is a very small fraction of the images in our files, we will add more images as time allows. We will also add new images, since we're out in the field creating new photographs as often as possible. Finally, if you've seen an image in any of our books or calendars published over the years, please note the book or calendar title, page number or caption, and call us to see what sizes are available.
STANDARD PRINT SIZES: These are the sizes that most accurately reproduce the width/height aspect ratio of the original photographs. For your convenience in cases where you want to frame prints yourself, most of these sizes also mirror common mat and frame sizes available on the retail market. Please note that where there are very similar, yet different, sizes available, this is due to discrepancies between original photo formats. Originals made with medium- and large-format film cameras (currently the bulk of our inventory) have an aspect ratio of approximately 4:5, providing prints in sizes such as 8x10, 16x20, 40x50, etc., with minimal cropping of the source image. Originals made with digital cameras have an aspect ratio of 4:6, like that found in 35mm film cameras, providing prints measuring 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, etc., with little or no cropping of the original image.
MATTING/FRAMING: We are not a frame shop, and therefore do not offer a wide variety of mat and frame choices. Generally speaking, we think our photographs look best in a simple white beveled mat and a classic finished wood frame. The styles we offer are of very high quality, and give the finished piece a look of elegance and sophistication. We use 100% cotton rag mats and UV-coated glass or acrylic that blocks 98% of damaging ultraviolet rays, to ensure the long life of your print. However, you are welcome to purchase our photographs on a "print-only" basis and take them to the framer of your choice. Please note: We offer framing, but not matting, on our 30x40 print size; we do not offer matting or framing for our two largest print sizes (40x50, 20x50). Click here to go to Frames page.
CUSTOM PRINT SIZES: If you have a need for a photograph with dimensions not incorporated in the sizes listed above, please contact us for a price quote.
SHIPPING COSTS: We can ship to anywhere in the United States. "Print-only" prices include shipping. For all matted and/or framed pieces, shipping costs are in addition to the purchase price. We will detail any shipping costs when you order.
PAYMENT: Due at time of order. We accept checks, money orders, or in the case of in-person sales, cash. Colorado residents must add 2.9% for state sales tax.
DELIVERY TIMES: From the time payment is received to the time the finished art is shipped usually takes two weeks or less. "Print-only" orders will be shipped within one week. In rare instances where one of our suppliers is out of stock on a specific mat or frame, times will be longer, but we will inform you if that is the case.
GUARANTEE: If you are not completely satisfied with your finished print, we will refund 100% of the purchase price upon return of artwork.
